Walter S Pytlik, 73 of Whiting died Friday January 28, 2022, at his home. Born in Bayonne he resided in Manalapan from 1982-2006 before moving to Whiting 16 years ago. He worked as a Professional & Civil Engineer for Earle Naval Weapons Station in Colts Neck and Pumping Services Inc for over 30 years. He earned his Master’s degree from NJIT. He was a Past Faithful Navigator for Knights of Columbus Our Lady of the Pines Council #9852. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, and was an avid New York sports fan. He was a 50-year Jets season ticket holder and a longtime Ranger fan. Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Pamela F, son, Michael S Pytlik and daughter, Jennifer L Pytlik, 2 brothers, Stanley & Robert Pytlik, sister-in-law, Janet Magda & husband Vincent and nephews, Vincent & Christopher Magda and niece Suzanne Vizzi & husband Steve and 2 great nephews, Justin & Jonathan Vizzi. Visitation is Friday 1-5 pm at Oliverie funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Saturday 9AM at St Elizabeth Ann Seaton Church, Whiting with interment to follow at St Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
