Phyllis Barley 86 of brick died Friday May 13, 2022 at CareOne, Jackson. Born in New York City, she resided in Brick since 1955. She was known as the Cookie Lady at Peddler’s Village in Wall. She enjoyed going to the beach and Atlantic City, and spending time with family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband James L Barley Sr in 2020, her children, James Jr and Brenda Barley. Surviving is her son, Lawrence Barley of Alexandria, VA, 6 grandchildren, Wardell, Matthew, Steven, Brandon, Scott, & Samantha and 2 great grandchildren, Brooklyn & Madilyn. Cremation was private. Inurnment at St Mary of the Lake cemetery, Lakewood is Friday June 3, 2022 at 1 PM.
