Joseph C Salzano died Tuesday May 5, 2020 at age 74 at his home in Clearwater, Florida with family by his side. Born in Jersey City he resided in Brick for 30 years then moved to Manchester in 2010 before moving to Clearwater 1 year ago. He owned and operated Top of the Line Carriers in Brick for 15 years and was currently working as a Transportation Broker for the past 10 years with Covert Transportation in Sea Girt. He enjoyed the beach, sun, and travel and loved eating seafood and working out; he loved life. He is predeceased by his wife Mary Ann in 2016. Surviving is his daughter Samantha & son-in-law Frank Fico of Brick, NJ, fiancé Linda Pregenzer of Clearwater, FL, 2 sisters, Dolores Verducci and Geraldine Sasso, 2 grandchildren, Gabriella and Joseph, and extended family Cenisa, Rosemary, Theresa, Nancy, Janice, Steven and Carl. Private entombment is Monday at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. In lieu of flowers donations to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105. Due to the current conditions a memorial service will be held at a later date.
