Frances J. DeCesare, 72, of Renaissance, Manchester, died Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at home after a long, hard battle which she fought with unprecedented strength & courage. Born and raised in Jersey City, she lived there for 60 years before moving to Manchester in 2009. She was a project manager & product analyst for Cookson Electronics in Jersey City for 34 years before retiring in 2008. She was a member of the Renaissance Golf Ladies League, Bocce Ball Club, & Card Club. She enjoyed golf, reading, traveling, and cruises. She was a member of The Red Hats and various social clubs in her community. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Saverio “Sam” DeCesare, in 2001. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Tracy & Ronald Cafferty Jr.; twin brother, Joseph Sprofera & Susan; and adored grandchildren, James Howlett III & Samantha Howlett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins & many dear friends. Visitation is Friday, 4-8pm at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Saturday, 9:15am at St. Luke Church, Toms River. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
