Evelyn Mongiove, 82, of Manchester, NJ, died Saturday, December 26, 2020, at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in New York City, she resided in Brooklyn for 60 years and then Staten Island for 5 years before moving to Manchester in 2005. She worked for Rite Aid Pharmacy in Brooklyn as a Pharmacy Technician for 25 years before retiring in 1988. She was a member of the bocce and bowling club in her community. She enjoyed playing cards, knitting, watching Wheel of Fortune, and spending time with her family. She is predeceased by her son, Peter T. III and her daughter-in-law Bernadette. Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Peter T. (II). Her 2 sons; Glen Mongiove and Gene Mongiove & his wife Laura, and Daughter-in-law, Donna Mongiove; 3 grandchildren, Monique Voto, Jessica Peluso and Peter T Mongiove (IV); and great grandchildren: Jake & Mackenzie Voto, and Thomas & Kaitlyn Peluso. Funeral Liturgy is Wednesday, December 30 at 11 AM at St John’s Church, Lakehurst, with Visitation to follow from 1-4 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester.
