Elizabeth A. Zarrillo, 85 of Berkeley Township, passed peacefully on February 16, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newark she resided in Bloomfield and Brick prior to moving to Berkeley Township in 2007. In addition to raising her children, Elizabeth worked as a Community Relations Representative at The Eye Care Center of New Jersey in Bloomfield, as a receptionist at Seashore Surgical Institute in Brick and as a front desk receptionist for DelNegro and Senft Eye Associates in Neptune until her retirement in 2021. Elizabeth’s heart was full when her house was full. She loved cooking and hosting parties and holidays in her home. Her family and friends never turned down an offer to eat her famous meatballs, stuffed artichokes, Thanksgiving stuffing and rice pudding. She graciously shared her love of cooking with her family so they can carry on her wish to continue celebrating together in her memory. Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, Pearl and Peter Jurgonis. Her family is comforted to know that she is now with her beloved husband, Dominick, who passed in 2015, and her dearest friend, Lena. Elizabeth is survived by her loving children, daughter Linda and son-in-law James, son Dominick and daughter-in-law Rose Marie, and her four precious and treasured grandchildren, Jamie, Dominick, Joseph and Dana. She is also survived by her dear and loving sister, Joan, and many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth’s family would like to thank her adored niece and goddaughter, Donna for always being a constant support to her. Visitation is Tuesday 4-8 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Wednesday 1:45 PM at St Maximilian Kolbe Church, Toms River with interment to follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
