Anthony F Infante 83 of Manchester died Monday May 23, 2022. He was born in Newark, moved with his family to North Arlington and then resided in Toms River from 1964 until moving to Manchester in 2002. He served in the Army in 1961. Tony earned his BS in Economics from Rutgers University. He owned Infante Investigations for over 20 years. He also owned and ran, with his wife Marie, two Wicks and Sticks stores in Toms River and Echelon, NJ. He owned a second home in West Palm Beach and loved going on vacation there with Marie and his family. He enjoyed watching all sports, especially the Yankees in NY and in Tampa for Spring Training. He loved the NY Football Giants and was able to see them in person when they defeated Tom Brady and 18-0 Patriots in the 2008 Super Bowl. He also enjoyed horse racing and getting to go to the winner’s circle with his son’s race horses when they won. He liked walking on the beach, especially with his dog and best friend Sugaree, sunbathing, especially in Wildwood with his family and working out. He was class president and organized all of his high school reunions. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Tony loved visiting his grandchildren and watching them play sports. He was a sharp dresser and enjoyed shopping for himself. Surviving Tony, is his wife of 58 years, Marie Infante, his son, Anthony F Infante Jr, his daughter-in-law Christine, his daughter, MaryJean Natoli
and his son-in-law Jon. Also, surviving Tony are his siblings, Donato Infante Jr and Barbara Morano and his 5 grandchildren, Marisa, Jonathan, Anthony, Aryana & Nicholas. Visitation is Tuesday from 2-4 PM & 6:30-8:30 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. The Funeral Liturgy is 11 AM Wednesday at St John’s Church Lakehurst with a private cremation to follow. A luncheon honoring Tony’s life follows the ceremonies at Il Giardinellas in Toms River from 12:30pm-4:30pm.
