Yvonne Cybenko, 78 of Manchester sadly passed away at home on Monday, January 2, 2023 leaving behind a multigenerational family who will miss her deeply. A woman of principle and conviction, she valued family and tradition above all else. Yvonne was a native New Yorker and like Sinatra, did things "her way" for the benefit of family and friends, always placing the needs of others above her own. She was happily married for 48 years when she was predeceased by beloved husband, Walter. Yvonne is survived by her 105 year old mother, Letty, dedicated sons and daughters-in-law Michael and Franie, Stephen and Ruthy, daughter and son-in-law Nicole and Todd and cherished sister Yolanda. She was blessed with nine grandchildren, Madison, Nicholas, Kyle, Mikey, James, Jordyn, Matthew, Joseph, Andrew and great-granddaughter Elilah. She was an avid reader, sci-fi buff and Bronx Bomber fan. Yvonne also treasured her Puerto Rican roots and loved salsa dancing and cooking Latin dishes. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and friend whose laughter, smile and guidance will be missed. Memorial Gathering is Sunday 1-4 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester.
