William G Rose 88 of Jackson died Friday March 18, 2022 at Bartley Healthcare, Jackson. He was born and raised in Bayonne where he was a lifelong resident before moving to Jackson 3 years ago. He served in the US Army from 1953 to 1955. He was a sheet metal worker for Heifetz Metal Works in Wood-Ridge for 40 years and also assisted as shop steward before retiring in 1993. William enjoyed fishing, painting landscapes, and was an avid NY Giants fan. He was kind and gentle man and a great husband, father, father-in-law, and grandfather to his grand puppies Nick & Nora. He is predeceased by his brother, Arthur. Surviving is his high school sweetheart and wife of 73 years Joan, son, George & his wife Carol. Cremation is private.
