Vincent L LaSala 94 of Manchester died Tuesday May 24, 2022 at Palomar Medical Center, Poway, CA. He was born, raised & resided in Brooklyn, NY for most of his life before moving to Manchester 22 years ago. Vincent was in the restaurant industry in his early life from his grandfather's restaurant (Mott Street) to his father's restaurant (Kenmare Street and Cedar Street) together with his brother, Donald. He served in the Navy during World War II from Feb 1946-Dec 1947. He had a brief career in minor league baseball for the NY Giants organization, and finally, part-owner in the home improvement business known as Accurate Aluminum Siding in Brooklyn, NY before retiring to Renaissance. He enjoyed playing Golf & Baseball. He is predeceased by his wife Carmela in 2017. Surviving is his, daughter Christine Procaccio & her husband Felice; a son, Vincent LaSala & his wife Justine; a brother, Donald La Sala; and 4 grandchildren, Steven, Lauren, Luke & Matthew. Visitation is Sunday 1-5 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Monday 11 AM at St John’s Church Lakehurst with interment to follow at Brigadier Gen Wm C Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
