Obituary for Thomas L Piscitelli Jr.

Thomas L Piscitelli 90 of Manchester died Monday September 28, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. Born in South River he resided in Sayreville and Brick prior to moving to Manchester, Cedar Glen West Community in 1983. He served in the Army as a Corporal during the Korean War from 1952-1954. He worked as a Barber & Hairdresser for over 60 years before retiring 10 years ago. He owned and operated several salons that included Carousel Salon in Wrightsville, Vogue and Con-Teri in Brick along with his wife Connie. He also maintained the grounds at Brick Township High School for 10 years. He served as an Eucharistic minister and as an altar server at St John’s Church, Lakehurst and was a member of the American Legion Post #348 in Brick. He is predeceased by his wife Connie in 2004. Surviving are his son, Thomas L Piscitelli & his wife Valerie of Myrtle Beach, SC and his daughter Terri Nelson & her husband Rick of Manchester, 2 sisters, Antoinette Sweeney and Maggie Trent, grandson Rick Nelson and 2 great granddaughters, Leah & Shannon. Visitation is Friday 9:30-11:30 AM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Friday at Noon at St John’s Church, Lakehurst with interment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
