Thomas G Blossfeld 72 of Manchester died Sunday September 13, 2020 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born and raised in Teaneck, he resided in Bloomfield and Glen Ridge most of his life before moving to Manchester in 2019. He pitched for the Teaneck High School Highwaymen and Bloomfield College Bear teams. He worked 38 years for the State of NJ in Newark as a Vocation Counselor and retired as a Supervisor in 2010. He has a BS from Bloomfield College in Sociology & Counseling. He enjoyed playing guitar and being the Bob Dylan Expert & watching the Mets. He was a Non-Commissioned Commander of the Northern Tier with the Iberia Society in Newark and a member of the 7Line Army. He is predeceased by a son, Kristoffer Dylan Blossfeld. Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Maurine, son, Thomas Stephen Blossfeld & wife Kerry, daughters, Shannon Tara Martinez & husband Carlos and Kimberly Rose Blossfeld & husband Michael Badalamenti and 2 grandchildren, Jaden Thomas Martinez & Serenity Blossfeld and a sister, Marjorie Cummings.
