Theresa H Theobald of Manchester Township, New Jersey died peacefully on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Theresa resided in Manchester since 2003, previously residing in Jersey City and Bayonne, New Jersey. Born in Bayonne, she was the daughter of Joseph and Anna Koziol and sister to Sophie Reszutek (pre-deceased) and Matthew Koziol (pre-deceased). Upon graduating from Snyder High School's class of 1952 and completing executive administrative training at New York’s Katharine Gibbs School, Theresa worked for AT&T in lower Manhattan as an executive assistant. When she married Robert "Ted" Theobald (pre-deceased) in 1960, she left the workforce, fully devoting time to her family and raising her two sons. After living in Bayonne for over fifty years, retired life began as an active member of the Renaissance retirement community in Manchester. Here she would enjoy her time participating in various recreational and club activities while connecting with friends often by hosting weekly mahjong games. Theresa also enjoyed reading, visits to the beach, traveling and spending considerable time with her six grandchildren who she adored. She was a parishioner of St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Lakehurst, New Jersey. Surviving Theresa are sons, Stephen, and his wife Catherine, of Succasunna, New Jersey and Michael, and his wife Cheryl of Naples, Florida and grandchildren, Jonathan, Amanda, Douglas, Julia, Jeffrey and Gregory. Visitation is 4-8 PM on Thursday, February 3rd at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, New Jersey. The Funeral Liturgy is scheduled for Friday, February 4th, 10 AM, at St John’s Roman Catholic Church, Lakehurst, New Jersey with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, New Jersey.
