Susan J. Kostick, 77, of Jackson, died Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, Lakewood. Born in Brooklyn, NY she resided in Staten Island for over 30 years before moving to Jackson in 1995. She graduated with a master’s degree in Education from Brooklyn College. She worked for over 30 years as an Elementary School Teacher for New York City Board of Education, Staten Island retiring in 1995. She enjoyed knitting, playing canasta, gin rummy, cruising, traveling, doing crossword puzzle books and spending time with her grandkids. She was a fan of the current and the 1986 Mets and enjoyed watching tennis. She is predeceased by her husband Lester in August of 2022. Surviving are her sons, Seth E. Kostick & his wife Lori and Ross M. Kostick & his wife Lenny, brother, Stephen Hecker and his wife Lucia and 4 grandchildren, Emily, Christopher, Tyler and Jack. Entombment and services are Sunday 12:30 pm at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
