Stephen Zak III, 65, of Sciota, PA, died Wednesday, March 10, in his home. Born in South Plainfield, he had lived in Pennsylvania for 20 years. He worked for the NJ Carpenter’s Union before retiring in 2002. He was an avid sports fan and loved hunting & fishing. He loved animals and contributed to many animal rescues. Stephen was predeceased by his parents, Stephen Jr. & Mary Zak. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Norma Elizabeth, children, Michael & daughter-in-law Kaisha, Rachel & son-in-law David and Angela. He had 6 grandchildren; Justin, Annmarie, Raymond, Matthew, Maximus, Somya, 1 great granddaughter; Kalani; Cousins, Paul Metzker, Edward Drizk and Pamela Wolf & her husband Bob, their children, Wesley, Logan & Amanda and their families. Visitation is 9:30 – 11:30 AM with a 10 AM service at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. Entombment will follow at Somerset Hills Cemetery, Basking Ridge.
