Salvatore M Brienza 93 of Manchester died Thursday December 5, 2019 at home. Born in Manhattan he resided in Staten Island for over 36 years before moving to the Leisure Ridge community in Manchester in 1999. He was a Transportation Manager for Consolidated Laundries in NJ for many years before retiring in 1999. He was an avid Mets fan and loved baseball, playing billiards and bowling on the Leisure Ridge Bowling League. He is predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Jewell in 2007. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Robin Tomasuolo & Dr Vincent Tomasuolo Jr of Manasquan, and 2 grandchildren, Vincent III and Michael Salvatore Tomasuolo. Visitation is Sunday 3-7 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Monday 10 AM at St John’s Church, Lakehurst with interment to follow at St Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
