Ruth Schwinge 95 of Lakewood, formerly of Manchester died Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in Linden, she lived for many years in Manchester before moving to Lakewood in 2013. She was employed as an Electronics Assembler for Lawrence Engineering, Morganville for many years. She attended the Lakehurst United Methodist Church, Lakehurst, and recently, On Eagles Wings Church. She was very religious and read her bible daily. She loved animals, especially birds, cats, and squirrels. She was also devoted to her small dogs. Being the youngest of 12 children, she was very family oriented. She traveled extensively through Europe and enjoyed many cruises. She is predeceased by two husbands, Clarence Hyer (1990) and Richard Schwinge (2005), a granddaughter, Bonnie Ann, and a grandson, Robert M. Surviving is her daughter, Ruth Welch of Manchester, a son, Clrence Hyer Jr. and his wife, Nina, 3 grandchildren, Denise, Valerie, and Edward, 8 great-grandchildren, Bryanne, Amanda, Eddie, David, Kacie, Bobby, Kyle, and Katie, and a great-great-grandson, Benjamin. Visitation is Wednesday from 1-4 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester with a funeral service being offered at 4:00 pm. Burial will take place on Thursday at 11 am at the Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
