Rose Spina, 78, died Sunday, January 24, 2021 at her home in Manchester, NJ. Born in Jamaica, NY and raised in Hollis, Queens and Commack, NY, she settled in Howell, NJ where she raised her family before moving to Manchester, NJ in 2004. Rose was a parishioner of St. John’s Church and a member of the Columbiettes, Helping Hands, and Ring A Bell. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Daniel A. Spina and their children and spouses; Richard Spina & Denise, Michael Baudo, Michael Spina & Kerrie, Janet Sullivan & John, Susan Lo & Donny, Joanne Martiak & Wayne, Elizabeth Bloomfield, and her beloved grandchildren; Madeline, Michael, Lauren, Ashley, Matthew, Logan, Jeana, Kaleigh, Joshua, Emily, and Sophie. Also surviving Rose are her siblings, Dr. Joseph Bonura, Joanne Roffi. Visitation is Thursday, Jan 28th, 4-7 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Friday, Jan. 29th, 10 AM at St. John’s Church, Lakehurst. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38101.
