Rose Lucy Hayes, 83, of Toms River, died at home on Sunday, February 7, 2021. Born in Orange, she resided in North Arlington and Verona before moving to Toms River in 1995. She worked for NJ Bell, then Verizon in North Jersey as a writer for many years until retirement. She enjoyed reading, writing, and wrote professionally under the pen name of Rose Ehrismann. She was a people person and her favorite artist-songwriter was Nora Jones. She is predeceased by her husband Michael in 2014. Surviving are her cousins, Kathleen Leppard, Ann Riordan, Susan V Schreck, Helen Mautner, George Schreck and Gerald Schreck. Cremation was private.
