Obituary for Ronald J Valinoti

Ronald J Valinoti 83 of Renaissance in Manchester died Saturday February 12, 2022 at Ocean University Medical Center, Brick. Born in New York, NY he resided in White Plains, NY for 22 years before moving to Manchester in 2001. He served in Army from 1958-1960. He worked for the New York City MTA Metro North Railroad as an administrator in the Operations Dept for 40 years before retiring in 2001. He loved his family and many life-long friends. He played piano and enjoyed playing “The American Song Book” with songs from Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett. He also enjoyed playing & watching golf tournaments, traveling around the world, watching PBS movies, documentaries, biographies & concerts. He loved life, laughing, & had a great sense of humor. He loved the holidays and big family celebrations with friends and great food. He was a very compassionate & empathetic person to everyone. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Joan Collura, son, Dominic Valinoti & his wife Regina, daughter, Lauri-Ann Pirraglia, sisters, Audrey Cassano & husband Anthony & Diane Humphrey, 3 grandchildren, Keith Pirraglia & wife Kerry, Zachary Pirraglia and Paige Piazza and sister-in-law, Laurie Hammond & husband Robert and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral Liturgy is Wednesday 11 AM at St John’s Church, Lakehurst with a private cremation to follow.
