Robert W Devaney, 85, of Manchester died Wednesday, July 6, 2022 peacefully at home. Born & raised in Jersey City he resided in Cliffwood for 43 years before retiring to Leisure Village West in 2004. He was an Iron Worker for Union Local #373 in Perth Amboy before retiring in 1998. A member of several bowling leagues through his life, he enjoyed fishing both salt & fresh water and was an avid Yankee’s and Ram’s fan. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marlene Devaney, sons, Robert W Jr & his wife Lisa, Mark T & his wife Sherri, Kenneth M & his wife Lorraine, daughter Sharon M, sister, Mary Callahan, and 7 grandchildren, Donovan, Kelsey, Conor, Colbie, Sean, Kalie, and Jeremy. Visitation is Sunday 1-5 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Monday 12 PM at St Maximilian Kolbe Church, Toms River with interment to follow at St Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.
