Richard Perrone, 74, of Lakewood, died January 25, 2021 at home. Born in New York City, he resided in Lavallette for 17 years before moving to Lakewood 9 years ago. He was a member of the LIUNA Union Local #79 in New York City for over 40 years before retiring in 2010. He was part of the 9/11 Clean-up crew at work. Family was his life and he enjoyed spending his day on the beach. He was fond of collecting vintage, grandfather, and cuckoo clocks. Surviving are his children, Richard M Perrone & his wife Michelle and Christina Perrone; a brother, Michael Perrone; and two grandchildren, Richard Jr & Cameron. Visitation is Saturday 9:30-10:30 AM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Road Manchester. Funeral Liturgy to follow at 11 AM at St John’s Church, Lakehurst, with a private cremation.
