Raymond J Welch 86 of Fort Mills, SC died Monday February 21, 2022 at his home. Born in Essex, NJ he resided in Piscataway for over 30 years before moving to Forked River for many years and then Spring Hill FL for 10 years and a few years ago to Fort Mills SC. He worked as a Fire Inspector for Piscataway Twp for decades before retiring in the 1990’s. He enjoyed his time with his family and company of good friends. He was very friendly and liked to golf and relax with his children and grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife Catherine “Kay” in 2009 and his son Raymond Welch in 2011 and his daughter Diane Pauls in 2019. Surviving is his son, Kevin Welch and 6 grandchildren, Christopher, Daniel, Cathleen, Ryan, Kelly and Jackie and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation is Saturday 1-4 PM with a 3PM service at Oliverie Funeral Home 292 Ridgeway Rd Manchester.
