Ralph Francis Arcurio, Sr., age 78, passed into eternal rest on May 4, 2021. He was the son of the late Mae and Frank Arcurio. He is survived by his loving wife Eleanor of 58 years. He is the father of three children: Ralph, Jr. (Jeanne), Evonne Glynn (Brian) and Bruce (Malisa). He has seven grandchildren: Kristin, Connor, Jacqueline, Cameron, Madalyn, Laura and Aynsleigh. He is survived by four sisters: Dolores, Janice, Marcia and Pam. Ralph was born in Johnstown, PA. He raised his children in Maywood, NJ and later settled with his wife in Manchester, NJ. He worked for Ford Motor Company for approximately 38 years and was a member of the UAW Union. He was an avid bowler and participated in many leagues over the years. He enjoyed his 50’s music and cutting a rug on the dance floor to the delight of all who were in his company. His big smile and gregarious spirit would light up the room and bring life to any party. He was a wonderful handyman and could build or fix just about anything. He was a train collector and would build elaborate displays each Christmas to the delight of his grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling and exploring many parts of the world. Most of all, he was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 4-8 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Saturday 10:30 am at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River, NJ 08753. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River. The repast lunch to follow at Artisan’s Restaurant & Brewery, 1171 Hooper Ave, Toms River, NJ 08753. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your favorite charity.
