Phyllis A Bennett 78 of Whiting died suddenly Thursday December 26, 2019 at home. Born in Jersey City she resided in Sparta for 30 years before moving to Whiting 3 years ago. She worked as an office manager in the medical office of Dr Marc Simon in Sparta before retiring. She enjoyed baking, going to the shore, her occasional trips to Atlantic City, but most of all spending time with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her sons, Richard E Bennett and Daniel J Bennett, her 4 grandchildren, Kaleigh, Catrina, Logan and Alicia, great grandson, Ayden and her best friend since kindergarten, Elaine Behringer. Visitation is Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Tuesday 10:45 AM at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting with a private cremation to follow.
