Obituary for Philip Kamp Lees

Philip Kamp Lees, 78, of Manchester, New Jersey passed away peacefully at home on April 1, 2022. He was born in Paterson, New Jersey to parents, George T. Lees and Eleanor K. Lees. Philip graduated from Belleville High School in 1961, William Paterson University in 1965, receiving a BS in Science and Math. He also received his Masters Degree from Seton Hall University in 1971. Philip had a successful career in education in Manasquan, New Jersey as a Science Teacher, Freshman Football Coach, High School Vice Principal and retiring as the Elementary School Principal in 1997. Philip married the love of his life, Janice, in 1965, who survives him. In addition he is also survived by his children, Philip K. Lees Jr., Kristen (Eric) Morgan and Jennifer (Dennis) Hill and three wonderful grandchildren, Colin Hill, Kiley Hill and Kendall Morgan. Philip is survived by brother, George T. Lees Jr. and family, and a host of beloved extended family including his faithful companion, his dog, Angus. Philip’s passions included golf, sailing, sudoku, traveling and being a nightly contestant on Jeopardy. In his spare time, Philip was also the Golf Rules Chairman and Historian for Renaissance Golf Country Club. Funeral Services are private.
