Peter J. Russo, 74, of Leisure Knoll, Manchester, died Friday, November 13, 2020 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Brooklyn, he had lived in Old Bridge before moving to Manchester in 2016. He was a carpenter for over 20 years working for NYC District Carpenter’s Union before retiring in 2005. He loved fishing and his family, especially his grandkids. Peter is survived by his wife of 40 years, Teresa Russo; daughters: Stephany & her husband, Bill Cenegy, and Amy & her husband, George Hassa; brother, Nat Russo; sister, Rosemarie DeSantis; and grandchildren: Victoria, Billy & his wife, Jess, Samantha, & Ryan. Visitation is Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9pm at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. Interment will take place Friday, 10:30 am at Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veteran Cemetery, Arneytown.
