Peter “PJ” Castaldo, 57, of Whiting, died Sunday, May 21, 2023 at his home. Born in Bayonne where he spent most of his life. He was a self-employed carpenter for many years. PJ would race boats with his father Joe when he was younger and continued to enjoy all things boating throughout his years. He was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins. Known for his big heart and smile he is survived by his aunts and uncles, Andy & Janet Wojturski, John & Regina Wojturski, Marie & George Stone, Peter & Jennifer Castaldo, and many cousins. Also, Michael Castaldo who was not only a cousin but his closest friend. Cremation was private. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Lung Cancer Foundation.
