Pauline A. Valente 86 of Manchester died Friday October 9, 2020 at Preferred Care-Wall. Born in New York City, she resided in Old Bethpage, NY for 20 years before moving to the Leisure Village West community in Manchester in 1993. There she was an instructor for the Aquacise Class, a member of the Organ/Band Club, Italian American Club, First Aid Club and Caritas. Pauline was a very kind and compassionate woman who gave selflessly to her family, friends, and community. She would often shop for neighbors, as well as deliver meals to those who were unable to care for themselves. A voracious reader, Pauline spent countless hours working at the Willow Hall library. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond in 2011 and her sister Helen Ganzfuss in 2019. Surviving are her children, Ann Marie Fasano & her husband Gary, Raymond M. & his wife Jane, Michael J. & his wife Marilyn, Joseph S. & his wife Jacqueline and John F. & his wife Christine, sister, Greta McKeon, and10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation is Thursday 2-6 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Friday 10 AM at St John’s Church, Lakehurst with entombment to follow at Whiting Memorial Park.
