Paul Sheridan 83 of Jackson died at home on Wednesday January 1, 2020. Born in Clinton NJ, and raised by his foster family the Rizzolos in Belleville NJ where he went by the name Julius “Julie” Rizzolo, he raised his family in Maplewood NJ until semi-retiring in Lakehurst for 24 years before moving to Jackson 5 years ago. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Manchester and enjoyed country music and line dancing with his wife Evelyn and their many dancing friends. His wife Evelyn predeceased him in 2010. Surviving are his sons, Daniel P. Sheridan & wife Kathy, Thomas N. Sheridan & former wife Maggie and Steven D. Sheridan & wife Samantha and 4 grandchildren, Kimberly, Tyler, Zachary and Elizabeth. Visitation is Sunday Jan. 5th, 1-5pm at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester. Funeral Service is Monday Jan 6th, 9:30am at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2309 Rt #70 Manchester, NJ with interment to follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd, Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Redeemer Lutheran Church.
