Obituary for Patricia Jean Reilly

Patricia J Reilly, 87, of Manchester passed away at home on Wednesday February 9, 2022, surrounded by her adoring husband and loving family. Born in Jersey City she resided in Colonia for 50 years before moving to Manchester in 2012. Patricia had a passion for life grounded in her faith, family, and dedication to community service. Pat and Charlie Reilly lived a full life together, always by each other’s side and always on the go! Pat worked as a Teacher’s Aide for the Woodbridge Twp Board of Education for 20 years before retiring in 1996. Pat and Charlie loved to travel and summered in their favorite place, Cape May. Pat’s community service was evident through her volunteer work as a Cub Scout leader, active member of the American Irish Club of Woodbridge, serving homeless at community soup kitchen, school PTO volunteer for Fashion Shows and donating to many causes. She loved to dance and be with her friends & family. She was adored by her grandchildren and could often be found, with Charlie, in the stands cheering on her grandchildren at their academic and athletic events. She is predeceased by her sister, Loretta Anan. Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Charles J, sons, Michael C Reilly & wife Adrienne & Brian P Reilly & wife Jennifer, daughters, Kerrianne Frick & husband Dennis, Mary Pat Callahan & husband Steve and 9 grandchildren, Justin, Allyson, Tricia, Danny, Steven, Christopher, Sean, Kevin and Charlie. Based on Covid challenges, family is planning an intimate family only celebration of Patricia’s life on Sunday from 1-5 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 292 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Monday 10 AM at St John’s Church, Lakehurst with interment at Brigadier Gen Wm C Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
