Obituary for Pasquale Esposito

Pasquale “Pat” Esposito 89 of Lakewood died Wednesday February 9, 2022 at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, Lakewood. Born in Middle Village, Queens, NY he resided in Brooklyn and Staten Island for 32 years before moving to Lakewood in 1999. He was a graduate of Brooklyn Automotive High School where he was the team captain and star of the baseball team. He was a baseball enthusiast and player and before being drafted he played for the St Louis Cardinals minor league team. He was an avid Yankee and Joe DiMaggio fan. He served in the Army during the Korean War from 1952-1954. He worked as a salesman for over 40 years. He was a salesman for Planters Peanuts, Max Factor and retired from Bonnie Bell Cosmetics in Cleveland, OH as a Territorial Manager. He was a member of the Fairways Men’s Club, Italian American Club and softball team. He is predeceased by his sister, Tina Esposito & Christina Vicari. Surviving is his wife of 68 years, Jean, 2 sons, Steven G Esposito & wife MaryAnne and Richard M Esposito and 2 sisters, Rae Mariano and Dolly Igneri; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation is Monday 4-8 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Tuesday 10:30 AM at St Luke Church, Toms River with entombment to follow at Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel.
