Neil W Terjesen 67 of Manchester died Tuesday April 25, 2023 at Green Acres Manor, Toms River. Born in Hoboken he lived in Toms River before moving to Manchester 6 years ago. Neil attended Ramapo College in Mahwah and the Culinary Institute of America, New York. He was employed at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown as the Director of Morale, Welfare & Recreation. He was the restaurant manager at the Old Mill Inn, Spring Lake Heights for many years, and also worked at Carmines Restaurant in Atlantic City and New York. He enjoyed weight training and boxing, surfing, and reading. Neil also enjoyed bike riding and working on his bicycle and participated in Toms River Harbor House’s 5-Day Ride. He is predeceased by his father, George Terjesen. Surviving is his wife of 42 years, Leslie Terjesen, daughters, Jill & Robert Herbst and Krystin & Dr. Manooj Prasad, mother, Eleanor Terjesen, brother, Keith Terjesen, and 4 grandchildren: Hailey, Raymond, Juliet, Drake. Memorial Gathering is from 12 to 4:00 pm Sunday, May 21, at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester with a funeral service being offered at 3:00 pm.
