Martha H Sahin 82 of Jackson died Monday May 8, 2023 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Hempstead, NY she resided in Staten Island, NY before moving to Jackson in1970. She worked for Kelly Theater of Homes and Crossroads as a realtor for 35 years and proudly taught real estate at various real estate schools in Ocean & Monmouth Counties before retiring in 2013. She was an active Jackson Jaguars Football Mom and a Girl Scout troop & Brownie Leader. She enjoyed playing piano, solitaire and watching Hallmark movies and SVU shows. Her pride and joy was spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Dr. Mustafa K Sahin in 1996. Surviving are her sons, Paul Sahin and Daniel F Sahin & his wife Nancy, daughters, Leyla M Sumner & husband Harold and Deniz M McCann, sister, Linda Holmes and 6 grandchildren, RJ, Karaline, Rebecca, Rob, Joseph & Taner. Visitation is Wednesday May 17th, 4-8 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 125 S Cooks Bridge Rd Jackson. Funeral Service is Thursday 10 AM at the funeral home with interment to follow at East Windsor Cemetery, Hightstown. The service is delayed to accommodate family obligations.
