Margaretta Nemets 84 of Lakewood, NJ died Wednesday May 18, 2022 at Ocean University Medical Center, Brick, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY she resided in Ridgewood, NJ for 30 years before moving to Lakewood, NJ 22 years ago. She graduated from Jersey City Medical Center in 1958 as a Registered Nurse. She was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Lake, Lakewood, NJ. She enjoyed reading a variety of novels in mystery, love and history. She liked to travel and also enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She is predeceased by her son Stephen Nemets in 2018. Surviving her is Andrew Nemets her husband of 55 years, her son Andrew P. Nemets and his wife Laura and her daughter, Jennifer Kerr and her husband Brian and 4 grandchildren, Zachary, Allison, Ryan & Makayla. A Memorial Mass is 12 PM, June 4, 2022 at St. Mary of the Lake, Lakewood, NJ. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Parkinson Foundation 1359 Broadway Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
