Margaret "Peggy" Nehila passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday March 25, 2020 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick, Nj. She was born in Hopelawn, NJ; the 4th of 5 children. Peggy moved to Ocean County in 1977 and lived for the last 30 years in Leisure Village East. She had a beautiful view of the lake out her window. Peggy loved her children and grandchildren more than anything; they were her life. She loved to visit Atlantic City, talking football with her grandsons and growing beautiful flowers. Peggy had two older brothers "Whitey" and Danny, one sister Sue, and a dear younger brother Tim who was very close to her. She leaves behind her daughter Donna Shimrock & her husband Kevin of Toms River, and her son Robert Vargo & his wife Dina of Toms River; four loving grandchildren Kevin, Christopher and Shannon Shimrock, and Sheila Vargo. She was called "Aimee" to them. Her amazing strength, courage and love will live on in them forever. Our hearts are broken as we say "Aimee - We love you to the stars and the moon and the silver baboon". Funeral services are private.
