Obituary for Marco N Cutinello

Marco N. Cutinello, 87, died Sunday, September 13, 2020 at his home in Manchester, NJ. Born in Roselle Park, NJ, he lived in Clark, NJ for 29 years before retiring to Manchester 20 years ago. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers School of Pharmacy in 1955.
He became a part owner of Rita Pharmacy in Roselle Park in 1963. He later became sole owner of the original stores in Roselle and Roselle Park, as well as locations in Linden and Cranford, before retiring in 1997.
He was most recently a parishioner of St Luke’s Church, Toms River. He served as the President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Union County from 1969 to 1971, and was a member of The New Jersey Pharmacist Association and The National Community Pharmacists Association. He was a member of the Men’s Club and, along with his wife, the Irish American Club in their community, Renaissance. Marco was an avid gardener and golfer.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Christine Cutinello Diesso (1961-1987). He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Barbara. He is also survived by; his son Mark Cutinello and his wife Maria; his daughter Karen Kamenetsky and her husband Leonard; his daughter Maria Toothill and her husband Rick; and 6 grandchildren; Aimee (Cutinello) Gifford and her husband Rich; Sarah Kamenetsky; Daniel Kamenetsky and his wife Emily McDowell; Christine Cutinello and her partner Corey Jones; RJ Toothill, and Allie Toothill.
Visitation is Wednesday, September 16th 2-4 & 6-8 PM, at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Rd, Manchester. The Funeral Service will start at the funeral home at 8:15 AM on Thursday, September 17. The Funeral Mass will follow at 9:15 AM at St Luke’s Church, Toms River, with interment to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
