Lucille Greene 91 of Whiting died Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Mahanoy, PA, she lived for many years in Holiday City, Berkeley, before moving to the Pines at Whiting in 1996. She was employed for many years as a Switchboard Operator with New York Telephone, Manhattan before her retirement. She was an avid reader. She is predeceased by her husband, John P. Greene, who died in 1996. Surviving is her niece, Marian Polk. There are no services scheduled at present and a private cremation will take place.
