Lorraine Evelyn Morris 90 of Leisure Ridge, Manchester died Saturday April 30, 2022 at home. Born in Jersey City she resided in Old Bridge for 59 years before moving to Manchester in 2017. She was an Administrative Assistant at the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, East Brunswick for 20 years before retiring in 1992. She was formerly a volunteer at Raritan Bay Hospital, a Girl Scout troop leader, and a Sunday School Nursery Assistant in Old Bridge. She was a lifelong member of Simpson United Methodist Church before moving to Manchester. She enjoyed bingo, cooking, playing the piano, trips to Atlantic City. She loved cruising and annual trips to Florida. She was everyone’s beloved “Nani”- loving and nurturing. She is predeceased by husband John Morris in 1972. Surviving is daughter, Lorraine Leone & husband Salvatore, sisters, Eunice Riccio, Roberta Veltre, Joan Crawford, grandchildren, Michelle, John, Ashley, and 4 great grandchildren, Alyssa, Kirsten, Ava, and Charlotte. Memorial Gathering is Thursday May 5 from 4-8 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester with service at 7 PM.
