Lillie B Jones 94 of Perth Amboy died Sunday January 3, 2021 at Hackensack Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. Born in Mobile, AL She was born, raised & resided in Mobile, AL until 15 years ago when she moved to Perth Amboy. She was a member of the Greater Mt Olivet Baptist Church in Mobile, AL. She was a self-taught seamstress and made her children’s clothes. She enjoyed singing and greeting everyone at church and spreading the word of the Lord. Her husband always came first and she loved family outings, decorating and using her very creative skills. She is predeceased by her husband, Isaac Jones in 2001, her daughter, Lolaender Jones and son, Ivan Jones. Surviving are her children, William Hunter, Minnie McCrear, Greta L Jones, Doris Stitt, Jacquelyn Webb, Betty Johnson, Elzena Jackson, Vashawn Jones, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral was private. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Elzena Jackson.
