Leonetta Marotta, 88, of Toms River died Monday, February 14, 2022, at home surrounded by family. Born and grew up in the Bronx, NY, she raised her family in Pompton Lakes, NJ, for many years before retiring to Toms River 24 years ago. She was an avid reader who loved to laugh, dance, play mahjong with friends, watch Hallmark movies, go to the beach, hit the slots in Atlantic City and cook, especially her famous manicotti. The most important thing to Lee was spending time with her family. Surviving is her beloved husband of 64 years, Louis J Marotta, 3 sons, Stephen & his wife Janet, Michael & his wife Barbara, Raymond & his wife Susan, and 2 daughters, Susan Marotta & her husband Jim Garbarczyk and Christine Parker & her husband Barry and 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation is Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Friday 10 AM, at St Luke Church, Toms River with interment to follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery in Lakewood.
