Kathleen Noreen DiMeola, 81, died Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at her home in Toms River. Born in Jersey City she spent most of her life there before moving to Tinton Falls, then Whiting before retiring to Toms River 3 years ago. She worked as a grammar school teacher in Jersey City at P.S. #39 until 1982 when she retired. She was a parishioner at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Whiting. She enjoyed all types of trivia and loved music. She loved her family and truly believed family comes first. She is predeceased by her husband Robert DiMeola in 2015, her son Joseph Henehan in 2018, and by 2 grandsons, Jason and Joseph Henehan. She is survived by her son, Raymond Henehan of Manchester, daughter, Rosemary Viglone of Toms River, brother, Joseph Maher of Long Branch, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, June 17, 10:45 AM, at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting with inurnment to follow.
