Julia T. Szabo died Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, N.J. at the age of 74. Julia was a native New Yorker who was passionate about her family, friends, and career. For nearly 30 years she worked for the FBI at Federal Plaza in NYC. Her role as a supervisor brought her great pride. She retired to Manchester, NJ in 1993 where she pursued her creative interests –crocheting, making afghans, decorating, and baking. She enjoyed entertaining and playing board games. Julia had a great personality, was very outgoing, and loved to help people. Her faith helped her to overcome many personal obstacles without complaint. Surviving is her sister, Katherine O’Brien and husband, Patrick, nephew Christopher, and Niece Elizabeth. Memorial Mass is Friday October 2, 2020 at St Jean Baptiste Church with inurnment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, NY.
