Joseph P Taddeo, 85 of Manchester, NJ passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family Sunday, December 8, 2019. Joseph was born in Manhattan, NY, on March 19, 1934. He lived in Bronx, NY for many years before moving to Parlin, NJ in 1983 and later moved to Manchester in 1998. He proudly served in the Army from 1955-1957. He worked for Charles Finder Printing as a Lithographer in Manhattan, NY before retiring. Joseph had an eye for beauty and loved to work with his hands. He enjoyed all forms of horticulture and maintained the stunning grounds around his home that he shared with his wife. His neighbors often complimented him regarding his creative abilities. He is predeceased by his parents Marsilio & Teresa Taddeo and his sister, Mary Vergano. Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Anna (Triscuizzi), children, Mark J Taddeo & wife Lois of Basking Ridge, and Michele Mignone & her husband Angelo of Long Beach Island, a brother, Ralph Taddeo and 4 treasured grandchildren, Olivia, Matthew, Claudia and Andrew. Visitation is Monday 11-1 PM with a 1 PM service at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Interment to follow at Brigadier Gen Wm C Doyle NJ Veteran’s Cemetery, Arneytown.
