Joseph A. Leopardi, 84, of Renaissance, Manchester, died suddenly Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Staten Island, he resided there before moving to Manchester 20 years ago. He was an electrician for over 15 years before earning his law degree, and had worked as an attorney for 20 years with Sullivan & Cromwell in Manhattan. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. Joe followed the stock market and was an avid tennis player in his younger years. He was predeceased by his sister, Jeanette Uhll. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janice (Finley) Leopardi; son, Joseph F. Leopardi; daughters: Jennifer Leopardi & Juliet Leopardi; and grandchildren: Adrianna & Matthew, also 4 nieces and 1 nephew. His niece Nancy Cevetello was especially close to Joseph. Visitation is Monday, 2-5 pm, at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Tuesday, 10am, at St John Church, Lakehurst, with entombment to follow at St Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
