Joseph T Getta, 91, died Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at his home in Manchester. Born in Englishtown, he spent most of is life in Freehold, later moving to Toms River and finally retiring to Manchester in 2013. He served in the Army during the Korean War, from 1951 – 1954. He was an assembly line worker at General Motors in Linden for 39 years. He loved Atlantic City and playing Bingo. He was an avid Giants and Mets fan. He is predeceased by 3 of his children; Lynn Franklin, Sherly Strong, and Joseph Getta. He is survived by his wife of 69 years; Madeline Getta, his sons; John Getta, William Getta & his wife Tanya, his daughter; Lois & husband Joseph DiFedele, daughter-in-law Cheryl Getta, 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Cremation is private.
