Joseph F DeGratto 79 of Manchester died on December 15, 2022 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Brooklyn, NY he resided in Staten Island for 50 years before moving to Manchester 21 years ago. He worked as a customer service senior vice-president for Con-Ed in Brooklyn for 26 years before retiring in 1990. He served in the Navy from 1961-1963. He enjoyed cooking at “The Shed” for the Renaissance Guys especially his sausage and peppers. He was very artistic and also like to do home improvement projects. He had “Hands of Gold”. He was a member of the Rebels and was the Life of the Party and liked to play slots at Harrah's & Borgata. Surviving is his wife of 26 years, Carol; children, Frank DeGratto, Denise Cammarata & husband John, Christine Mariano, John Vaccarella and Anthony Vaccarella & his wife Tracy; sisters, Carolyn LaChiana & Rosemary Neuner-Fabiano; 7 grandchildren, Damiano & his wife Maryss, John, Skyla, Genna, Ava, Lexa & Joseph; and 2 great grandchildren, Lily & Ella. Visitation is Monday 2-6 PM with a 5 PM service at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester.
