Joseph S. Canuncio, 78, of Renaissance section of Manchester, died Friday, January 1, 2021 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Bronx, NY, he lived in Dumont for 21 years, and then Robbinsville for 12 years before moving to Manchester in 2002. He was an Assistant Vice President for American Reinsurance in Princeton for 25 years before retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Renaissance Italian American Club & Men’s Club. Joseph enjoyed golf, reading novels, had a green thumb & loved to garden, and was known as Mr. Fix-It. He was predeceased by his sister, Carol Swanke. Joseph is survived by his wife, Rosemary G. Canuncio; son and daughter in law, Joseph S. Canuncio Jr. & Nicolette Brycki; daughter, Catherine Miller; and grandchildren: Samantha & Christopher Miller, and Lola & Lexi Canuncio. Cremation will be private. Inurnment will take place at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood at a later date.
