Obituary for Jon-Scott Clark

Jon “Spanky” Clark passed away Monday February 28, 2022 peacefully at home after his courageous battle with cancer. He was born, raised and lived all of his life in Lakehurst. He worked for the NJ Department of Transportation as a heavy equipment operator for 19 years. His passion was baseball and he was very active as a Little League Umpire. He was a member of the District #18 Little League Umpire Association and one of his many accomplishments was umpiring at the Little League Eastern Regionals in Bristol, CT. In the off season , he refereed for the Manchester Recreation basketball teams. He was a key member of the Manchester High School Booster Club. During the football season, you could find him every Friday night flipping burgers at the High School snack stand. He was admired and loved by many. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph & Elaine Clark, sister, Sharon Weinberger, brother, James Clark and brother-in-law, Norman Prue. Surviving are his siblings, Joseph Clark, Kathy-Ann Prue, Linda Steiner and Vickie-Lynn Belanger; his significant other, Deborah Otto, and life long friend Michael Doyle, as well as, several nieces & nephews. Visitation is Saturday 2-5 PM Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester.
