John “Jack” R Peluso 72 of Manchester died after a brief illness at home. Born in Teaneck, he resided in Cliffside Park before moving to Manchester in 1972. He was working for Vincent Hirsch Financial in Manasquan for 30 years. He was an avid Yankees and Giants fan, enjoyed gardening, landscaping and the outdoors. He loved Disney, cooking and did catering for a while. He coached his boys’ basketball and soccer teams. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Geraldine (Davino), 4 sons, Michael J of Manchester, John R Jr of Vineland, Christopher L & wife Samantha of Clifton and Joseph R & wife Tricia of Haddonfield, 2 brothers, Anthony of Manchester and James of Lincoln Park, 1 sister, Mary Ann Shapiro of Concord, NH, 2 grandchildren, Dylan & Abigail and his 3 sisters-in-law, Madeline Lockner, MaryAnn Borthwick and Lily Peluso and brother-in-law, Ernest Davino. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
